Students will engage in researching and applying concepts that include the following: 

• organizational strategies, structures and cultures to achieve entrepreneurial innovation;

• enrollment and governance of volunteers for public causes;

• operations and project management techniques applied to nonprofit activities; and

• community engagement through use of digital and social media platforms.

 

Rutgers University-Newark has extensive relationships with public sector organizations, nonprofits as well as partnerships with in-house departments (e.g. Rutgers Observer) that will allow Professor Jett and the students to take part in leading and completing various public charity projects and events.
